Inconsistent smoothness despite decent FPS - poor frame pacing?

Hello, I’ve been playing Battlefield six for a week and I have noticed even at 90 to 105 frames per second my game feels choppy with a lot of input lag. 

I downloaded arc Raiders to test it out and arc Raiders felt smoother at 75 FPS than battlefield six did on my computer at 110 FPS, with a very little perceptible input lag. 

This has been making the experience for me unenjoyable. I’m sure it is also unenjoyable for other players. I hope this gets fixed because it feels like poor frame pacing to me. 

My system has an RTX 2080 and on Intel core I-9 9900 K paired with 32 GB of RAM.
