KTS100 MK8 LMG Unlock BUG - 6 Contacts, Still Locked. Case #22954589

Unlock Bug: KTS100 MK8 LMG (Light Machine Gun)

Hello Community Managers/Senior Specialists,

I am creating this post to seek assistance after numerous failed attempts through the standard EA Support process.

The Issue: The KTS100 MK8 LMG remains locked in my Loadout despite successfully completing the required 'BULLET STORM' challenge.

Proof of Completion:

Image 1 (Attached) clearly shows the 'BULLET STORM' challenge as 'Completed' (100%) with green checkmarks.
Image 2 (Attached) shows the KTS100 MK8 LMG as 'Locked' in the Loadout menu.

Support History: I have contacted EA Support over six times regarding this issue (Case #22954589). Every advisor confirmed it is a known bug but refused to perform a manual unlock, insisting I wait for a patch. The standard support channel is currently closed and only redirects to an unavailable Chat option.

Request: I have fulfilled my obligation to earn this item. I respectfully request that a Community Manager or a Specialist with the authority to manually inject the item into my account resolves this issue immediately.

    This seems a problem for a lot of people (me included) not seen any response of fix. Steps stated have not worked (reset cache, repair,  reinstall, track / untrack, complete different levels, xp boost, do challenge again etc.) I have tried on 2 different PC's but been like this for 2 weeks. Oddly, the rewards for the later unlocks were given.

    Yes, unfortunately, this is a very annoying and widespread bug. My issue is specifically with the KTS100 MK8 weapon remaining locked even though the challenge is completed.

    I also tried all the general troubleshooting steps you mentioned (repairing, reinstalling, different modes, etc.) without any success.

    Hopefully, a Community Manager will intervene on this thread soon and perform a manual unlock for all affected players. Thank you for confirming the issue!"

  • I have the exact same bug. It's also happening on Steam and Windows 11. I feel the pain. I hope it gets fixed very soon. Ive also tried the general troubleshooting steps. 

  • Well put. This is ridiculous. I really want to use both the Deploy Beacon and the KTS100 MK8, but can't because of the items being locked even after completing the challenges.

    "I don't understand how difficult it can be to fix this error, or to just give this weapon to everyone. I've sent so many emails and received the exact same replies so many times that I'm completely fed up. It's only two weapons, and this disregard for the community should not be happening."

    Upvoting - was told by support to head here. 
    I have unlocked the KTS100 MK8 LMG & the SL9 via the challenges - over 2 weeks ago at this point - and they are still locked to me to use. 

    In the case of the KTS100, I do have the gun unlocked via the challenges that follows this one.  

  • Unfortunately posting here will not help - and support should know this!. The forum users can not sort it out for you - only offer advice 

    I seems to me that Managers rarely comment on (or even read ) these threads !!! :(
