Saw on threads on steam and on other forums that me and a good amount of people have been having issues with latency while everything in terms of our oc looks good. Where you get in a fight and feels like your running in mud and bullets don’t register.Seems like you guys have memory leak since it fluctuates like crazy when trying to play and becomes unplayable. please look into this because when the game is actually working some of the time it’s mad fun.
i have the exact same thing, my pc will be the only device on my wifi, even with ethernet, and i still get horrific packet loss according to the game network issue widgets, but the network bar and speed tests all say im on 10ms ping. only fix i have found for now is to play ortal through the server browser, otherwise the game is literally unplayable
Thank God I'm not the only one. I was just about to post about this as well. Mid fight I would slow down and hits would not register. It is pretty inconsistent and isn't caused by something you do I think.
I had exactly the same issue yesterday on Xbox series X.
A lot of other postings outside of the bug reports but like many on different posts and forums, the latency variation warning is tattooed to my screen. High ping when it does populate on the screen.
It causes rubberbanding and some character skating.
