Battlefield 6 started beautifully, but now it’s pure frustration.
EA really, really doesn’t want us to play against bots in any way. First, they took away XP progression, and now it seems they’ve even removed bot-filled lobbies in multiplayer.
The result? Either you wait forever to find a match (on Xbox with crossplay off), or you end up in a half-empty lobby. I’ve been trying for an hour to play just one proper match, and here’s how it went:
• Attempt #1: I was completely alone on the map.
• Attempt #2: Only five players total.
• Attempt #3: Partially filled lobby (several players missing on each team) — and an absolute disaster for me: 3 kills and countless deaths.
• Attempt #4: Even worse — after 10 minutes of trying to get a single kill and dying nonstop, I just quit.
In short: the game is completely unplayable for me. The Portal mode doesn’t work, community games (where you could still play against bots until yesterday) are empty, and in regular multiplayer I’m just a living target helping others farm XP.
Zero fun. Zero gameplay. 100% frustration.
I have to say — EA really knows how to pull off a perfect scam. I paid £80 for this, and I’ve had enough.
It's insane to me how far reaching this bot fill bug is. Bot fill needs to fill the entire lobby!
