List of BF6 bugs/oversights
Bugs
- Some vehicles are not spawning on one side on several maps, leading to heavily imbalanced matches
- If you zoom in to aim in a vehicle, you are locked out of going into third person view until you zoom out
- Laser-guided (painted) lock on missiles ignore flares completely, leading to a one-shot with no counter-play (LAV guided rocket for example)
- TOW missiles, despite their description, do not lock on to painted targets.
- The assault ladder will often bounce the player backwards when attempting to interact with it
- Aircraft radar is not functional
- Pilot kill-assist missing for transport heli pilot on gunner kills
- In escalation (maybe other modes where the map moves/changes as the game progresses) the spawn menu UI will become bugged, and not show all vehicles, if you are on that screen when the map transitions.
- Sometimes: client sided bug where you cannot see the correct count of tickets, it's frozen on an incorrect number
Oversights/questionable design
- The LittleBird helicopter is missing from the game
- Resizing the mini-map distance while ingame (N key in previous games) functionality is missing
- Recon is the only class to have C4, instead of all assault, engineer, and recon in 2042
- Jets have no weapon customization, as in previous games
- The GPDIS/MP-APS (trophy systems) destroy themselves after one use, making them fairly lackluster
- Why are these 2 different items in BF6 - merge them back into the same item as in previous games.
- The MP7 only has 16 damage per bullet - underpowered. This was 20 in previous titles.
