As long as you don't mind joining other region's server (which you stated you don't), I don't really see what your issue is, let alone what made you post this in the bug section.
What is EA supposed to do about too few players playing in your region to fill a server?
What is preventing you to filter the server list for more populated regions?
They should’ve counted how many MENA players there are before setting up useless servers, or just made games start when at least 80% are actual humans.
