I FEEL LIKE I WAS SCAMMED BY EA.
I used those Battlefield Coins to purchase Battle Pass tier skip packages at the end of Season 1, after I had already completed the Season 1 Battle Pass. In Season 2, the purchased skip value was not available, and the game then consumed additional Battlefield Coins when I tried to skip a tier.
My issue is not buyer’s remorse. My issue is that the paid digital content appears to have been missing, unusable, or not clearly disclosed as season-limited at the time of purchase.
I am requesting a refund/review on the basis of:
digital content not as described / missing paid entitlement
lack of clear disclosure of the season limitation
additional coin loss caused in Season 2Please review the purchase under your digital refund process and applicable consumer rights.
At the end of Season 1 in Battlefield 6 I used most of my Battlefield Coins to buy the tier skip packages that were discounted. When I bought those tier skip packages, I already had finished 100% of Season 1 battle pass, and I bought tons of skip tokens that I wanted to use for the next season.
I WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT NOWHERE IN THE SHOP AND/OR UNDER THE TIER SKIP PACKAGES IT WAS WRITTEN THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO SEASON 2.
Now, in season 2, I tried to skip a tier on my Battlepass and instead of using the tokens it used my Battlefield Coins.
Where are all the tokens that I bought 2 weeks ago?
I really hoped I didn't "lose" all those tier skips I bought, because EA never explained anywhere that those skip tiers would have been "removed" in the next season 2.
I spend 2000 battlefield coins to buy them. If I can't use them now, I would at least like to get a refund all the coins I spent (both for the skip tokens, and also the ones i used by mistake in season 2 to skip a tier).EA SUPPORT WROTE ME:
"EA auto-consumption policy: Auto-Consumption Policy: Similar to other major shooters, any unspent tokens at the end of a season are often automatically applied to remaining rewards. Since the customer had already completed the Season 1 pass, these tokens may be viewed as expired if not used within the season of purchase."
"As per the game's item usage policy, we cannot change or modify it. If you're unsatisfied with the policy, please post your concerns on the EA forums."
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM.I already finished 100% of the Battle Pass when I bought the tier skip, if I would've known that ea would remove them in season 2, I woudln't have spent 2k battlefield coins for tier skips that I coduln't even use. oNLY
It's like I threw in the trash 2000 Battlefield Coins for no reason. Only a **bleep** would do that.

I’ve been dealing with this issue for two weeks and contacted EA customer support. Initially, they told me there was no problem and that I was mistaken. After I shared this forum thread, they acknowledged the issue but refused to provide an ETA for a fix or offer any form of refund, either in cash or Battlefield Coins. Their reasoning was that they cannot issue refunds because “it’s an online game,” though it’s unclear what that means in practice.
They advised me to request a refund through Xbox. However, the refund window has already closed, despite the content never being delivered in-game, and Microsoft only directs me to a non-functional virtual agent, with no way to speak to a person.
At this point, I appear to have paid for content I never received, with no clear path to resolution. It’s a frustrating example of how difficult it can be to trust digital services.
EA_Leeuw any update? Would you recommend I speak to my bank in order to contest the transaction or will that trigger an incorrect but automated punitive response from Microsoft / EA?

Still no resolution to this issue? What an absolute joke. They really just mark it as not fixable and that's it? straight up stealing money.

I went on my bank statement and disputed $9 from the $25 battlefield pro I bought to account for the 900 battlefield coins I lost. DO NOT DO THIS. I got the money back but then next day my battlefield pro was deactivated. LOL. I get last laugh though because season 1 ended 1 day later so battlefield pro ended anyways. 🤙 They could ban me for doing that i assume and am glad they didn't.

Im on xbox series x, prestige track. No tier skips show as available anywhere in the game and there are no options to use them anywhere either. It basically looks like the bf coins i spent have be taken for nothing in return. If this issue is not fixed and retroactively give me the last few rewards of the season 1 battle pass, i will be expecting a refund of the bf coins i spent on 5 tier skips.

I bought a total of 20 tier skips and the first 10 worked, they worked to finish 3 on the pacific ghost battlepass tiers, and 7 on the ultimate. But when i bought 10 again for the last prestige tiers, nothing happened at all, exept that i lost 800 bf coins. That was 24 hours ago.
Do you see any menu option (perhaps within the Battle Pass screen) to manually redeem or apply your available tier skips? - Nope
If you think you’re affected, please also confirm:
Platform - PS5
Whether you’re on the main Battle Pass track or Prestige - Prestige
Whether any tier skips appear as available in the Battle Pass UI - No, no tier skips appear.

Purchased 10 tier skips. Only 4 applied to complete the ultimate track. so I went ahead and purchase another 10 to complete the prestige track and none of those applied.
Been over 50 hours since.
This needs to be fixed before the battlepass ends... Actually at this point im gonna end up grinding the last few tiers myself so now I want my 800 BF coins back.
