Random repeated inputs

I have an Xbox Elite 2 Controller. It's in great condition and I don't have any issues with it anywhere else, only BF6. My controller just sitting in the menus and doing nothing somehow gets the "B" button repeatedly pressed on it's own. I've gone through all the options I've researched on what to do to potentially fix my issue but nothing has worked. I play other games and I don't have any issues, but as soon as I get on BF6, the intermittent repeated button mash returns and it doesn't allow me to do anything. 

The nerve damage in my left hand from my tour in Afghanistan doesn't allow me to comfortably play M&K. Whenever I do use M&K, the issue I've experienced with controller goes away. As soon as I activate the new input by pushing on the stick to wake up the controller, the button mashing returns. 

PLEASE FIX!!
