Recon Drone ping/marker placement problem

Description:

Since the latest major update, the Recon Drone's ping/marker system appears to be broken.

When using the Recon Drone, placing a marker no longer marks the location the drone is looking at. Instead, the marker is placed near the player's actual position (where the operator is controlling the drone from).

This makes the Recon Drone almost useless for reconnaissance, as teammates are unable to see the intended enemy positions or points of interest.

Steps to reproduce:

Spawn as Recon and deploy the Recon Drone.

Fly the drone away from your character.

Aim at any distant location or enemy.

Place a ping/marker.

Expected result:
The marker should be placed at the location the drone is aiming at.

Actual result:
The marker is placed at or near the player's physical location instead of the drone's target location.

Additional information:

The issue started after the latest major update.

It significantly impacts Recon gameplay and team communication.

The problem appears to affect every attempt to place a marker while controlling the drone.
