Recon Specialist 1 not tracking

It pains me to say that this is not the first challenge progress tracking bug that I am reporting, but this one is particularly demoralizing.

The requirement to spot 300 enemies in objectives using recon gadgets is not counting properly or consistently. Please either fix this or if you mis-worded the challenge then reword it.
