repair vehicles task

Sometimes it counts, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m currently at 1631 out of 3000. I just played a round of Conquest and continuously repaired a tank, but at the end of the round I got +0 repaired vehicle damage. However, I do receive the assist points for kills.
