In quick respawn gamemodes like King of the Hill and Domination, using the spawn beacon to respawn yourself quickly will not count as a death. I was able to recreate this bug several times in multiple fast respawn gamemodes on several maps.

Same thing here. I have yet to see if it affects stats tracking website.
On top of the death not counting in the UI I believe it might also not deplete a ticket for your team so it's basically cheating. I realized after a few matches of TDM that my team appeared to win by a huge margin every time and I think it might have to do with this.
It does count normaly for the opp team I can confirm. But deaths do not count on your KD not just on the scoreboard.
Encountered this aswell by accident (I was just stupidly running in during King of the Hill to help my team) and I had like 3 deaths even though I should have had close to 20. If you place your beacon on respawn you will very likely have 0 deaths at the end of the round. It's not even my intention to not die (on scoreboard) I just want to use my spawn beacon :(
