Hey guys I'm back!,, soo 100% the issue was not modes nor maps. You just have to be in range of the grenade trophy when it blocks the throwables. Just hold a position and place it below you, probably best to stand behind a deployable shield too. Happy Supporting!

This isn't true. I got like 15 notifications while I was pinned down almost on top of my equipment and got 0 progress.
