This challenge is not tracking for me despite me throwing down the equipment and it destroying nades that come its way. Currently at 0/100 when that's not the case. The other part of the challenge where you earn score works just fine for me.
Only known way to get this to track is to get into an escalation game and place one down and see if it tracks. Even if you get intercepts it won’t count. Unfortunately you have to sit on HQ and place one down, resupply and place another. The actual placement of the gadget is counting rather than intercepts. This wasn’t the case for me yesterday but that case today. No other mode works besides escalation.
yep not working for me either, seems like it's happening to a ton of people. Crazy so many things in this game just don't even work and the challenges are insane. 25 shotgun kills in one match?
Still having the issue on Breakthrough.
Same here; stuck on 0/100 even though it tells me grenade intercepted. Tried different modes, different maps, portal; etc. Nothing works. How was this not tested or fixed yet by EA?
Still not working. I tried different modes and swapping classes. It tells me it intercepted but doesn't register on the tracker.
At least you get the intercept notification. The only thing I haven't tried yet is going to one of the custom servers with a friend, have them join on the enemy team and see if it's just poor placement on my part or if it's just not tracking/triggering.

I’m currently trying to level up the Grenade Intercept System in Battlefield 6.
Even though the game shows notifications like “Projectile Intercepted” or “Grenade Destroyed”, my counter still remains at 0 / 100.
I’ve tested this across multiple matches and modes, and the system clearly works (it visually intercepts incoming grenades or rockets), but the progress tracker doesn’t update at all.
So far I’ve tried:
Different modes (Rush, Conquest, Breakthrough)
Different maps and sessions
Re-equipping the gadget / restarting the game
Nothing helps — the stat stays stuck at zero.
This seems to be the same issue others have reported
Please fix this — we can’t complete the challenge or mastery as long as intercepted projectiles don’t count.
it tracks in the Portal and only by how many times you place it down... if you go into Portal that tracks challenges, etc. and sit there with a supply pack and keep placing it you will notice the meter go up
How can you heal team mates without the supply pouch which you can only obtain with the grenade intercept challenge?
