Hi. I had the same bug. I fixed it by resetting the class to default. You do this by hovering over the loadout and holding X (on xbox) or X on my keyboard settings. Then just go in and adjust it back to the guns/gadgets you had on it.
I tried your method, but it didn't work in my case.
