I’m reporting a visual bug I’ve encountered in Battlefield 6. A friend of mine experiences an issue where any optic or scope he uses turns into a thermal scope. After some testing, I realized the bug seems to come from me — I’m using an actual thermal scope, and whenever I aim, his scope also turns thermal on his screen. The bug stopped once he switched to a red dot sight.

Had the same thing happen to me, i didnt notice a pattern but i was playing solo so idk what the other people had on their guns
It happened to me as well, on Blackwell Field map two days ago. I don't know what my squad mates were using, but it was so rare occurrence that I tend to believe that OP's testing and cause of this bug may be correct.
This happens to me and my friend every single game when we play together in a squad and one of us uses thermal sight. It turns on when I aim and off when I don't aim. Extremely annoying — and makes me not use thermal, so I wont "bother" my friend, as it turns on and off as I aim. Please fix this asap!
happens to me allot. It can even keep flickering between the tank scope and my normal gun when im out of the tank
Yes happened to me today. Even after making a squad by myself it was still happening.
it totally messed up my whole experience, I quit the game.
same here in ps5, my normal 3x scope turns to termal now and then... very annoying
I have this problem. The players looks like minecraft operator on thermal scope (1x50).The edges are squares and im playing on high resolution resolution (not overkill)
Happened to me too, I thought it was from the recon laser designator since those seem to be a little buggy anyways.
