UI Prompts Completely Missing in Campaign

I've been unable to progress in the first mission of the campaign, where you need to pick up the target designator, because there is not a prompt to pick up the target designator. I also could not pick up the ammo or collectable nearby either, for the same reason. Restarting the mission and the checkpoint both do nothing. I only realized what was missing after watching this part of the mission on youtube.
