Undefined Error

I bought the game for son so we can play together and worked just fine the first day, next day he gets an undefined error code 1:86001S:89001S:9C:-13561655840 I scan the QR code for assistance and it’s a generic troubleshooting guide with zero help. Googled it and all the results are for PC or PS5. I did the 1.1.1.1 dns and 1.0.0.1 and still the same problem. I even uninstalled the game reset the Xbox reinstalled the game and same error. My Xbox has zero issues and were literally in the same house rooms next to each other

    Having the same issues as everyone above. I tried all the suggested steps in this thread. No change. I can log in on my Xbox Battlefield 6 account no problem, but my son can’t. Keeps getting the above stated error. We even tried a second Xbox. No success.  I also reached out to EA support chat, and didn’t get anywhere. They just said, it is a known issue, but offered no solutions.

    I have now followed all possible troubleshooting steps, unfortunately without success; the message still appears when logging in.

    Are you gamesharing with your son?

    Also, go to the network settings on his console and let me know what it says for the NAT. 

    Does the error only happen when you play together? Is he able to play when you're not connected?

    We were game sharing and it worked fine. Once it quit working, I did go buy a second copy of game in case that was the issue. However, no change. 

    As for Nat, it says open. 

    And it doesn’t seem to matter if I am playing or not playing. He gets the same error both ways.

    Are you also playing on Xbox? If so, are you gamesharing?

    Can you tell me all of the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far? If you haven't power cycled your equipment, follow these steps:

    1. Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
    2. Hard restart your console by holding down the power button until it turns off
    3. Power it all up and try playing again

    Issues only began upon release of Season 1. Before that, this account worked flawless.

    Steps taken so far:

    Restarted Xbox (unplugged for 5 minutes and plugged back in) 

    Restarted router (also unplugged for 5 minutes)

    Reinstalled game 

    Deleted saved game files 

    Tried on second Xbox. (Series X) 

    Reset MAC address on Xbox 

    Tried DNS 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1

    Tried different network 

    Unfortunately, still getting that error. ,

    Regarding all trouble shoot:

    Issue: connection and logging into the servers

    Solvable: Unlikely as this is an internal issue on EA's and AWS side.

    Good afternoon or Good evening everyone in USA or Pacific Asia. I bring you an update on my finding regarding this issue.

    Turns out a lot of people been experiencing the server error code Undefine error 1:86001S:89001S ###### quite frequently. Turns out there are a lot of trouble shooting tips to use and test.

    (Dont bother and dont waste your time. Non- of these trouble shooting methods that I have tried for the past 10 days have any effect on the games avoidance of undefine error 1:86001S:89001S######)

    All trouble shooting method shown for Ps5 console should be void and avoided.


    • unplugging console for 5 min
    • unplugging router for 5min (not 20secs)
    • uninstalling and reinstalling game
    • not installing redsec
    • clearing cache in safe mode
    • rebuilding data
    • rebuilding software data
    • removing data
    • upgrading internet

     

    I have tried multiple times and memorized all occurrence and event regarding this issue. Even campaign mode does not bother the connection to the server or game. 
    Therefore, after doing this multiple times without rest (10 days worth of it without battlefield) I have discovered the undefine error is mostly and im 100% certain, it's an EA and AWS connectivity error. Ive been trouble shooting this on multiple occasion.

    What should the BATTLEFIELD COMMUNITY DO?

    Complain Complain Complain.
    Let them know its an error that they need to fix not us.
    All methodology is pointless. EA is responsible to fix the connection. Not you, not the gamer, EA and AWS are soul responsible for this.

    I hope this bring to light more on this so called error


    Undefine error 1:8600:8900:7C:-##########

    What should you do when you successfully log in? 
    Play battlefield when you have the chance! YOu may never know when the servers will go down again.

    I have tried this following Steps:

    deinstalled game - reinstall it 

    delete MAC adress 

    delete game save (with gamer tag on it) 

    nothing of this ideas works 

    when im logging into a second account, i can play without and problems. 
    so I go with the meaning from demonlordega13, That this Problem from EAs side. Our Hardware is OK. Because we could play without and Problems since the last update with the big season 1 Update.. there must be a simple fix/hot patch! 
    is it possible that EA could Name this Problem to the Internat IT department?

    I’m getting the same error for my kids account. I can log in on the same Xbox and play no problem. Took all the steps mentioned with no resolution. The issue is on EA’s side, it started with the update to season 1
