The AI in the wet have waaaaay too much traction. No matter what I do I lose at least 3/10 every time I come out of a corner into a fast section. For instance no matter what I did I was getting passed every lap in the final chicane of Suzuka. I saw another post stating this has been resolved. I am not seeing that.

AI rides like rails. If you try to outrun them, they send you into a wall. AI does not have tyres damage. What kind of nonsense is this? Why did I pay that kind of money? You haven't been able to fix the same problem for several years now. If this continues, I will no longer buy F1.

This year's game has a completely flawed tyre wear model. They have purposely increased the tyre wear on the players car to introduce more pit stops and tyre management, whilst the AI don't suffer any tyre wear at all. So completely amateur!
Why on earth would you even consider implementing such a totally flawed concept?
Additionally the tyre wear on a controller is CATASTROPHIC compared to a wheel user. On average +15% to +18% higher tyre wear per stint with a controller. Never even tested properly.
These types of monumental errors should never ever be implemented into the game, who's idea was it to introduce such an aggressive tyre wear model and the AI do not suffer any whatsoever? Add in even higher tyre wear for pad users and the concept is completely flawed.
Fix it!
The Dev's have said they are releasing an update to address the issue in the mid-September patch releasing with season 3.

In recent years, have we had any F1 game worse than 2025? I've been buying it since 2018 and I don't remember one with so many problems.
24 was the low point IMO. The handling model wasn't very enjoyable, and they never fixed the DRS trains the AI always got bunched up in.
Presuming the patch coming on the 17th fixes the big issues and has the performance patch/ sports update I think the game will be in a pretty good state.
