Unfortunately, I have not heard and it's really quite aggravating trying to play online and finesse a brake pedal that is quite uncontrollable. It would be nice to get an answer here soon! A refund may soon be requested as this is unplayable the way it is and F1 24 is COMPLETELY fine!
I had this same issue and found a fix that worked for me. Apparently when you bind the axis you have to press the pedal to the fullest end of the travel. The pedal input it registers starts from the end of the pedal for some reason. Hope this helps anyone finding this.

Thank you! I didnt realize that I needed to practically stand on my brake. Seems backwards af.. but that is what fixed it. I was having to put 50% pressure just to get the game to register 1% brake.
