Cant Save mid session save

i’m having the same problem and it’s frustrating but it’s happening on xbox too

Can we still not save mid session on a race...? It's puncturing to the point I can't be arsed even beginning a race unless I have hours of free time. 

I do full races. I enjoy going full. But this inability to save is pissing me right off. No momentum with being able to enjoy the game and get on with life. 

In the name of the wee man...sort it out,please. It's surely not hard....new bloody helmets and challenges and can't spend time getting this sorted

We've done some extensive testing on this but we've not managed to find a root cause. I've re-shared this issue with the dev team though in the hopes that we can reinvestigate

Yep, having the same issue myself. Save won’t work as I choose to quit and save so what it does is ask me to retry or quit without saving..EA_Habutai​, I’ve seen you fix a few issues? I don’t suppose this could be another one? Fingers crossed lol

Same problem again for me after completing a 100 percent race. Stuck on the please wait screen after a stuttery podium and can't get to the results screen to save. I don't do mid session saves but this keeps happening at the end of a full grand Prix. Sprints are fine. Another waste of 2 hours of my time. This is absolutely an unacceptable problem two months into release and no acknowledgement from EA. Is it just me having this issue? I feel I have no option but to give up on this game untill I have confirmation it's fixed as I can't waste anymore time. I invested in an expensive new wheel in anticipation for the release of this game. I only play F1 racing games so feel well and truly hacked off that it's all gone to waste. Please acknowledge and sort this out for goodness sake! If you can't then I want my £70 back. Or do I have to take this to trading standards???

Do you have the Thrustmaster T248? If you do i’m pretty sure it’s the wheel and the games fault

Yes I do. I was wondering if the wheel had something to do with it? I was playing F1 24 with the Hori RWO and had no issues. Upgraded my wheel as I wanted something with Force Feedback

the mistake you describe has nothing to do with the midsession save story, that's something else entirely. 
EA_Groguet​  [Tags removed - CM]  - I tested it again, saving works 1 to 2 times and then from about 25% race distance it no longer works and comes to the written error message. If you need data, please let me know where and how to store it.
