Cant Save mid session save

The game was a cash grab. Obviously EA is just hoping we get tired of waiting and move on. It’s 2025 and we have been complaining of mid session save errors for 3 months without any update. 

Typical EA, tell us to come in here and tell them what is wrong with the game so we do and just get practically no communication. The fact that this post says needs info is beyond me as well. The game won’t mid session save what is so hard to understand about that.

I know the situation is frustrating, but we haven't forgotten about this issue. Our team wasn't able to reproduce it at the beginning, and that's why we requested save game files.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive many save game files, but thankfully, some players stepped up and sent them to me via DM.

As soon as we have more information, we will update this thread.

Hi if you need more game files how do you do that?

and to re do the issue on my game it’s on any career mode I started a new driver career mode and on 50 or 100% race the mid race save feature works for a few laps then the error message appears and if you then go out of the game and back to the old mid race save it’s says it doesn’t work and resets back to the race start. I have been and reset some modes on the ps5 safe mode so I’m 100% sure it’s not my ps5.

the mid race save does work on Grand Prix mode with no problems on 100% race distance.

So still no fix and upto patch 11... You guys are terrible. You keep procrastinating, clearly it's not going to be fixed but you don't want to admit how useless you are. Along with terrible AI you've ruined another F1 game. Bravo EA

As per the comment 3 days ago, the team are still investigating the issue as they weren’t able to replicate it.

i understand the frustration but as soon as there is more information or a fix there will be an update but please do report it still happening and if affected, provide save files to assist the investigation

How many save files does it take to fix an issue....? I'll hazard a guess and say all of us on here could send code and it still wouldn't shift the problem 

The infuriating bug still lives and folk are getting more and more fed up. Patch after patch. The having to repeat tracks cause I canny just save and come back is beyond angering now. Games are games but this is a literal waste of time not with choice...why are games released with an acceptance of 'folk will just need to live with it'

Ye don't sell a hoover and it doesn't do as advertised and expect folk to get on their knees and clean up the crap with their hands having spent near £100!!!

OMG I have the exact same problem. Can't save mid any session, I have to end them to have them saved. I've start Jeddah FP1 at least 5 times since this issue has started occurring. 

This thread and issue has been going on longer than it took them to create the game its self. Been saving games since the early 90’s, and it’s comical this is an issue in 2025. This is an issue that should have been resolved months ago, and if it hasn’t been solved by now… it won’t ever be. Just bad business.
