When the track is wet, I'm unable to use ERS mode, but the battery still drains very quickly while the car struggles to reach top speed. It's almost impossible to keep up with the AI drivers on the straights. Moreover, the fuel usage is incredibly high when it's raining, even though I'm not usually on full throttle when exiting corners to keep the car on the track. Does anyone else suffer from a similar bug?

Yes, I noticed it too.
I started a career mode with 100% lap races, and I had rain in China and Japan. I don't usually adjust the fuel allocation in my strategy.
But halfway through the race, I was already down 0.01 laps in fuel (red numbers). I did a lot of lift and coast, but I still couldn't get the numbers to go back to green.
In Japan, I added three more laps of fuel, and I still ended up in the red. I hope they fix it soon.
Yup same problem for me.
100% races and in australia i had fuel problems like you and in japan (in wet) same thing, and during red flag the fuel went even more in the -red.
yeah in every other game ive had no problems with saving during rain (required no management at all) but in the wet it seems to require more management than when its dry (which makes no sense at all)
for me now in races im never allowed to use hotlap and the ai are so fast in the straights like losing half a second per straight only after the new update dont understand how they manage to break it but okay i guess

Yeah when im on a straight in rain, it feels like the AI would use Boost mode while i need to recharge because the ers makes it automatically, just feels even badder than F1 22 rain AI, they are more than 5 seconds faster a lap because of their topspeed at spa inters. Just crazy
