Why cant i move passed the new driver ratings update with i accept the email and accept it in the co op career? It just bugs out and doesnt do anything and i can no longer play co op which is very fr...

I’m a ps5 player and regularly play two player career mode with a friend of mine. Eversince the new patch when we enter the career mode we are presented with a driver ratings update screen that no matter the action that we do (either accept ot decline) does not go away. This has basically locked us out of our own career mode save where we have invested a hefty amount of hours, thus being quite frustrating.
we have tried multiple “fixes “ such as restarting the game and checking if driver updates had applied to our own individual career saves (which they had) but still remained the same on the two player save. I understand that creating a new two player save would probably fix the issue but we both don’t want to lose the work put in thus far !
I would very much appreciate your help on this

This works, only issue is a few steps are missing.
So the first player that leaves is the 1 with the mail, they accept it go back into 2 player career and are greeted by the update again. Then Other player then closes the game, re opens the 2 player career and should be in the main screen. Then all you gotta do is get the original player that left to close the game again and re open 2 player career and you should both be ready to play!.
