I’ve been experiencing consistent crashes in F1 25 (PC). The game runs fine for 20 to 90 minutes, then crashes silently to desktop.
After every crash, verifying game files in Steam causes the same 3 files (~31 MB) to redownload, regardless of how many times I reinstall.
Here is what I’ve already tried:
Full reinstall of F1 25 via Steam
Full uninstall/reinstall of EA Anti-Cheat via C:\Program Files\EA\AC
Deleted all folders related to the game: Steam install directory, Documents\My Games\F1 25, and AppData\Local
Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience, Logitech G HUB)
Verified RAM with MemTest and SSD health with CrystalDiskInfo (98% health)
Disabled Steam Cloud
Tried launching the game on a new Windows user profile
Confirmed that EA Anti-Cheat is corrupting files on runtime (Steam detects the same 3 corrupted files after launch every time)
I also tried bypassing EA Anti-Cheat for offline testing, but the Steam version will not launch without it.
I spoke to a live operator who suggested fixes I had already tried, plus other community solutions, but the problem persists.
I would kindly request an EA app key to play the game from the EA app, since this issue affects many players using Steam. If that is not possible, a refund would be appreciated, although I would prefer to keep playing the game because it is very good.
Thank you.
