Anti-Cheat Causing Game to Fail to Launch or Crash
I purchased the game on Steam, and since the day I bought it, I have never been able to launch it properly. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Reinstalling the game multiple times Updating my BIOS Verifying game file integrity in Steam (Steam always reports 3 missing files, and no matter how many times I reinstall or verify, the issue remains ) Closing all background applications that could potentially cause conflicts Despite all of this, the game either fails to launch at all, or it crashes within one to two minutes after launching. According to Windows Event Viewer, the crash appears to be related to EA Anti-Cheat. Below is the error information I found: Log Name: Application Source: Application Event ID: 1 Level: Error Error Details: EAAntiCheatService The game f1_25.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x1 This issue happens consistently every time I try to launch the game. I would like to know if this is a known issue with EA Anti-Cheat, and if there are any official fixes or additional troubleshooting steps I can try. At the moment, the game is completely unplayable for me.Unable to boot F1 25 due to Javelin
I'm running Windows 11 and I can't boot the game past the splash screen. Every time I try to boot up the game a pop up appears saying "the latest version of EA Javelin Anticheat is required to play." with the error code 115. My graphics card, BIOS, Windows are all up to date. I tried to verify game files on Steam, repair and uninstall and reinstall Javelin through the EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe, restart my PC, whitelist the .exe in Windows security, but nothing works. Please help me fix this?F1 25 Not launching on steam
After starting the game it opens the splash screen. after a bit, the splash screen closes the game doesn't load and instead just opens a windows that says "error 0x00000003". (I dont always get the error code) And IF the game opens (only happened twice since i bought it 3 days ago) it gives me an error saying: "EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game. (95)" And i cant play anything online as it says ingame that It cant connect to online servers. On top of that, when i try to verify file integrity in Steam, it says 3 files are missing and reacquires them. When i relaunch the game after verifying files the same splash screen issue occurs. Then i verify the files again and 3 files are missing AGAIN (Literally a continuous loop) Also, The game doesn't show up in my EA app library even though i have my steam account connected to my EA account. I tried literally everything I've seen online and nothing fixes it. I even contacted EA support AND steam support and none of them were able to help me. Looks like this issue has been happening for at least 7 months from what I've seen online (even in f1 23 and f1 24). And EA still hasn't tried fixing it. Please work on this issue so we can play the game we paid for.AI overtakes under yellow flags / safety car / VSC
I’ve noticed a serious issue where the AI can overtake under yellow flags, safety car, and VSC conditions without any penalty or needing to give the position back. It’s happened to me multiple times — for example, being overtaken on a straight under a full yellow flag, with the AI making a move as if the rules didn’t apply. No warning, no penalty, no position swap. Another clear case: in Career Mode, I exited the pits under safety car conditions and crossed the pit exit line about 2 meters ahead of an AI car. They immediately overtook me and never gave the place back — again, no consequence. This is yet another example of how the AI is not subject to the same rules or simulations as the player. Combined with issues like unlimited ERS, unrealistic traction, and no dirty air effects, it really hurts immersion and fairness. Hope this gets addressed — it’s a major gameplay issue.712Views14likes14CommentsF1 25 instantly closes when window is focused (click or Alt+Tab)
After the recent June update, F1 25 on PC crashes the moment the game window becomes active. It was working perfectly fine before. The game launches fine and reaches the main menu in the background, but as soon as I click it or Alt+Tab into it, it closes instantly with no error. There are no logs in Event Viewer or EA Anti-Cheat. I’ve fully uninstalled the game, deleted all configs and settings, cleared EA App cache, reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat, and even clean booted — same result. Specs: - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - RTX 5080 - 32GB DDR5 - Windows 11 - EA App (latest) I have tried with Nvidia drivers 576.80 and 576.66. Other EA games like EA FC 25 work perfectly. This only happens in F1 25 after the recent patch. Please investigate and escalate this. Thanks.Penalty system
I’m reaching out about the penalty system in F1 25. It feels like a vicious cycle: as your license grade drops, you end up in races with more aggressive drivers who tend to ram into you. Then, when you’re forced off track or caught up in these incidents, you get penalties that drag your license down even further. It’s frustrating because it feels like the system punishes you for circumstances beyond your control. I’d really appreciate it if you could look into refining the penalty system to make it fairer and more balanced for everyone. I know it’s not a legitimate bug, but maybe others find it frustrating too.Failure to launch from the EA Play app
Just downloaded my first game F1 25) and it refuses to launch. I get messages re: checking for updates, anticheat etc., before it says it's launching the game, but it just takes me straight back to the EA Play app. I've tried all of the suggestions I found online (run as admin, repair files, show only 1 display etc.) but the same thing keeps happening. What do I need to do to be able to play the game I paid for? Report ID - 0391a3a6-f610-4dba-9e63-82f573e168af
