F1 25 Keeps Freezing and Crashing on PS5 Even After Restart

Hello

I’m experiencing frequent freezing and crashes while playing F1 25 on my PlayStation 5. The issue occurs both in the game menus and during Career Mode gameplay. Sometimes it freezes while navigating menus, and sometimes mid-race — and then the game crashes completely, returning me to the PS5 home screen.

I have already tried:

Reinstalling the game

Clearing the PS5 cache through Safe Mode

Restarting the console (multiple times)

Ensuring the latest game update is installed

Verifying that storage space is sufficient

Despite all these steps, the problem still happens after every restart. My console is well-ventilated and no other games are showing similar issues.

Please advise if this is a known issue and whether a fix or patch is planned. Your help would be appreciated.

    Hey there,

This thread is a bit older and is being locked here to make sure info provided or reported is relevant to the current version of the game.

Feel free to create a new thread if there's a subject you're wanting to discuss that doesn't have a more recent topic, thanks!

Based on the scarce amount of posts, I'll presume that either the overall terrible experience that this game has continuously given me is somewhat isolated or uncommon.......or understandably gamers have more productive ways of killing clock.
After 12 months of glitches, crashes, and inexcusable flaws, I've exhausted my will to care any longer. This is without contest, the worst game I have ever purchased and played. My 32 years of F1 gaming patronage has frustratingly come to a halt. I've witnessed the consistent downward curve of deficiencies worsen by the year.......beginning with releases launched after the flu in 2020. So unless designers and programmers from the past, can step in or post humorously contribute to forward progress, I've donated my final annual 80 plus dollars. This post is without prejudice and doesn't require any response and or suggested solutions. Here here to the future.
