F2 drivers in MyTeam will always picked the same number as Icon Drivers
I think I might have figured out when the game will encounter this issue of both drivers using the same number in MyTeam.
I've tested a few different saves where I hired different combinations of drivers to see if this bug always occurred in this game mode.
- First, I tried hiring two real life F2 drivers, the result is both drivers are using different numbers. ✅
- Second, I went with one icon driver (Button) & one F2 driver (Aron), they are both using the same number (15). ❌
Then I tried the icon x real combination again, but this time it's (Senna) and (Aron), they are once again using the same number (forgot which number though). ❌
- Third, I tried hiring two icon drivers (Senna & Button), this time the result is they are both using different numbers (Senna = 41), (Button = 15) ✅
- Fourth, I tried hiring one Esport icon driver (Opmeer) and one F2 driver (Miyata), the result is both drivers are using the same number (94). ❌
I think we can probably conclude that there's something wrong with the game's number picking whenever players hire one icon and one F2 driver, and if I wasn't wrong, icon driver seems to had predetermined fixed number (Button = 15, for example), I wonder if that's causing the issue to whoever in the other seat that were designed to use random numbers.
Hopefully this bug wouldn't also causes issue to when player is hiring real F1 driver, the F2 driver in the other seat will automatically uses the same number as the newly hired F1 driver.
Also, instead of just resolving this bug, I think it's probably better if you just implement a system where players could freely pick numbers for all of these non-current F1 drivers, just make it the same way how we could pick our own custom number in Driver's Career.
