I still feel that the AI cars have insane levels of grip in the wet compared to the player car. Perhaps those with higher levels of experience can chime in if that's their experience also.
AI has not been touched since launch only thing they did was bring out a patch that lifted the front end to stop the players car scraping the ground and causing loss of speed on the straights. As mentioned by the devs before it takes alot of work to train the AI which is fair enough so why isn't this done in the 2 year gap they get within codies headquarters when creating the game.
