Bumping this 6-month old thread cuz I'm hitting the exact same wall in MyTeam after the last patch
Overfueling by 8 laps and still running dry mid-race – fuel saving modes feel broken too. Quick fix that's helped me: drop to Lean fuel mix ASAP, stay in auto engine mode, and spam lift-and-coast on straights (hold brake for 0.5s every straight). Gets me to the finish without losing too much pace.
