game always crashes after loading screen when starting race

In the bottom left corner of steam there is a button "Add a Game" click that and you get a menu with a button for "Add a Non-Steam Game". This will bring up a menu of programs on your computer so browse through and select F1 25, the click add program.

I was able to play yesterday and this morning (finished breaking point and 3 races in carrier mode) and tonight, came back from work and I can't launch a single race in any mode. Back to desktop during the loading and I am using STEAM...

Putting a random dll file I pulled off the internet into system32 sounds like a prime way of contracting a virus or smth, nah thanks

Yeah that does sound like the exact same issue - game itself runs fine until you try to get into the car, then it's just blackscreen and back to desktop with no error message or anything

I already followed the troubleshooting guide, unfortunately it didn't help.

The only thing from the troubleshooting guide that catches is verifying file integrity (on steam), as already mentioned: there is always the message "3 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" - but it doesn't help, and the next time I verify, again 3 files fail the integrity check.

I intended to upload DxDiag with my inital post, somehow that failed, sorry for that.

guys i fixed my issue by going to file explorer > documents > My Games>F125> Hardware setting

-right click hardware_settings_config

-scroll down until you see : <rt_pathtrace enabled="true" />

Set it to FALSE and SAVE

restart steam and this should work before you did make sure to verify the game files integrity on steam and then close steam(Exit) do the above steps and open steam and run the game
