Kerb vibration not affected by Rumble Strip Effects (Logitech G923)
Hello,
I’m playing F1 25 with a Logitech G923 wheel and I believe there is an issue with how kerb feedback is handled in the Force Feedback system.
Even when Rumble Strip Effects are set to 0, the wheel still produces extreme vibration and loud rattling when driving over kerbs. The feedback is excessively strong and feels completely disconnected from the Rumble Strip setting.
From my testing, kerb vibration appears to be tied to the Overall / On Track Effects, which also control wheel strength and road feel. This creates a problem:
I want strong, heavy steering and good road feel
But I want to completely disable kerb vibration
Currently, this is impossible because kerb effects are not isolated properly
Reducing Overall or On Track Effects lowers kerb vibration, but it also removes steering weight and surface feedback, which is not desired.
Setting Rumble Strip Effects to 0 should fully eliminate kerb vibration, but it does not.
This feels either like:
a Force Feedback mixing bug, or
a missing separation between kerb effects and overall FFB strength
Please consider fixing this so kerb vibration is properly controlled by the Rumble Strip Effects slider, or provide a separate option to disable kerb vibration entirely.
Thank you.
