League racing connectivity issues

Hey, When me and my mate try to do our weekly league racing we are both met by the same error.

Im the league owner and can access the league but my friend cant join.
When we enter the league racing page and hits refresh we get a msg saying 'EA Racenet is currently offline. Please try again later, or contact EA Help for more information'

For now its been like this for a week now, Ive tried to delete the game, deleted my save game, deleted the league (only league im in).
I tried both on wifi and wired connection, restored licenses, put google as my dns

    Hmm, i wonder why me and my friend are still unable to race each other.
    We both get the same error when trying to refresh the league racing page, and hes unable to see the league as active before

    Hey zeebaah​, the team has reproduced the issue on our end and made some modifications that fixed it for most people. 

    Could you please check if you and your friend have a lot of messages in the mailbox and try to clear them out? I know this seems a little unrelated, but other players mentioned that clearing the mailbox fixed it for them.

    Hello! EA_cuervo my friend and i can join the league! But one friend cant still join with the error cant join bcs racenet is offline. He empty his mailbox already.

    Hey EA_cuervo​ we cleared out the mail boxes, even tho we only had 3 or 4 messages. 
    at the league racing page we could now refresh without issues however 
    When we were both admins in the league only one of us could join and the other would receive a msg unable to join session... and if we tried to refresh after we would get the racenet offline again.

    Made my friend a regular member and started the league lobby. then he entered the league race and could enter.

    but if he had entered the league racing page before i was in the lobby then he couldnt join, and hitting refresh would again give him the racenet offline error.  So its not all fixed yet, but atleast we managed to find a work around...

    Hey everyone, 

    Could you please confirm if you're still experiencing this issue after the latest update? 

    If the issue persists, please provide a report code and confirm in which game mode/league/race you are trying to join when encountering this connectivity problem. If you could also share a short clip showing the issue, that would be very helpful. 

    Thank you for your help and patience while we investigate that.

    My friend and I have still the same issue as others and nothing changed...

    It has been nearly a month now since we can't play..
