The decision was taken to remove vendor specific upscaler support for VR in F1 25 based on technical incompatibilities of our VR mode with the latest upscaler models. These incompatibilities could not be resolved, and keeping the options would have given a poor experience to our VR players.

EA, please, optimize your games for VR! We pay a lot of money for games that have real potential and interesting licenses, but for VR players it’s simply unplayable! Understand that some players only play simulations in VR, and regular screens don’t interest us! Sure, your games look great on a flat 2D monitor… but we don’t give a ****. I have an RTX 5090 with a latest-generation processor, a 3000-euro PC, and I still can’t even run F1 25 and EA WRC properly. Dirt Rally destroys you in terms of quality and smoothness: the game is gorgeous in VR! What the **** did you do with EA WRC? I just bought F1 25 on Steam and already asked for a refund… For your next games, please think about VR players and make your games both beautiful and smooth. It’s only a matter of optimization…
