This has has happened a couple of races in a row but for some reason when I get into the pits, then put light stays on red for 10-20 seconds even though it was an optimal stop and there was no delay taking the wheels off etc. There are clear gaps to the cars behind but the car is never released. Ends up costing me 10 + places.

I've had this same bug and what I did to fix it was turn my pit assist exit on and back off and it fixes the light staying red.

I go into the assist menu and since I race with no pit release assist on I go in and I turn it on then off again and usually it should fix my issue. If you race with pit release assist on then turn it off and it should fix it for that stop. But I've also had it happen to my teammate and I have no idea how to fix that
