During a race, speaking to the race engineer I would often get inconsistent weather & tire information.
For example:
- No visible rain, yet being told that the track conditions are 'no ideal' or I'm 'at the cross over point' or 'at an interesting stage' with conditions. Track seems to be dry enough and I'm doing fine on slicks, yet the AI is switching over to inters.
- Ask for 'weather report' and be told "No rain forecast" immediately followed by "Rain is due in the next 5 to 10 mins". Well which one is it? No rain or rain due? I know I have the 'approximate' weather setting on, but during the race and using radar surely they have a better idea..
- During a race the AI will often change tires far too quickly. During a wet race the opponent teams would change from inter, to wet, back to inter and then dry very quickly. My engineer would suggest I do the same, when I was doing fine on inters or wets without having to change up and down when the weather changed for a few moments.
