During me and my cousin's two-player career mode, our starting positions for both the Sprint and Full Race at the Shanghai International Circuit were incorrect. During the Sprint Qualifying, I set 2nd, while my cousin set 16th (was in the bathroom lol). Come the sprint, I was sitting at P1 and he was P2. Now, for the Race Qualifier, I set P1, and my cousin set P6. Come race day, I was P15 and he was P19. I don't understand how this could even be possible, and it is very discouraging to try in Qualifying if this will keep happening. I am a little worried about continuing our career mode if this is a known thing and not resolved. If anyone else has experienced this and found a fix, please let me know. Otherwise, I hope this is an easy fix or track-specific and will be addressed soon.

Same bug happens to me regularly, two player career mode, I'm on steam and friend through EA pc app.
Usually happens on sprint quali and no matter where I qualify, it will not put me in the correct position.
And quite often we get the blue flag at the start of the race.
Will there be a fix for this soon? This has been under investigation for several months but I've seen reports of this dating back a year?wdym investigating its still around
Yesterday in our Two Player Career mode my friend and I experienced the same issue that has already been reported by another user.
We were racing in China during a race weekend. In the sprint race all teams were lined up side by side on the grid and my friend and I started P1 and P2 completely ignoring the actual sprint qualifying results.
In the main race my position was set to P11 instead of the correct P4 and my friend was moved one place forward due to my incorrect grid placement.
We did not change any settings during the weekend and neither of us received any penalties. Please look into this bug as it is very frustrating and breaks the realism of the game.

When playing Two Player Career in the same team, after completing a full qualifying session (Q1, Q2, Q3), the starting grid for the Sprint Race (or the Race itself) is incorrect.For example:
I qualified P1
My co-op partner qualified P3 but received a +5 grid penalty
Despite this, I was placed in P7 for the Sprint, and my teammate was also misplaced
The qualifying results seem to be completely ignored or scrambled, and penalties don't behave logically
This seems to happen regularly
AI difficulty or settings are changed mid-weekend (possibly triggering a reset)
A Sprint Weekend is selected (but also happens without it)
Expected Result:
Players should start the race according to their qualifying results, with correct penalty application
This bug was also present in F1 23 and has not yet been resolved in F1 25. It severely affects the fairness and realism of Co-Op Career mode.
Please investigate and fix this issue.

Same issue here, finishing first in Quali and staring last during the Race, so annoying 😒
I’m running into the same issue in my friend and I’s two player career. We are on the third straight race encountering this bug.
Same here, happen on solo career for the last 4 Grand Prix, position for the race is completely random despite the final position on Qualifier.
Also, if I don't quit the Qualification before the timer run out, the qualification will restart indefinitively.EA please acknowledge this bug, it's happening to a lot of players. This absolutely has to be resolved immediately.
