Why cant i move passed the new driver ratings update with i accept the email and accept it in the co op career? It just bugs out and doesnt do anything and i can no longer play co op which is very fr...

I’m a ps5 player and regularly play two player career mode with a friend of mine. Eversince the new patch when we enter the career mode we are presented with a driver ratings update screen that no matter the action that we do (either accept ot decline) does not go away. This has basically locked us out of our own career mode save where we have invested a hefty amount of hours, thus being quite frustrating.
we have tried multiple “fixes “ such as restarting the game and checking if driver updates had applied to our own individual career saves (which they had) but still remained the same on the two player save. I understand that creating a new two player save would probably fix the issue but we both don’t want to lose the work put in thus far !
I would very much appreciate your help on this

Codemasters TeamHey folks - apologies that you've been experiencing this. I raised this with the team since yesterday's Driver Ratings update and we've identified what's causing it. In the meantime, user MaxBsch1905 shared a workaround that may help:
- Have both players join the Two-Player Career session as normal
- Once both players are on the Driver Ratings update screen, have one player (Player 1) leave the session and restart the game, leaving the other (Player 2) to stay on the Driver Ratings update screen and select 'Update'
- Have Player 1 re-join Player 2's session. Player 1 should then be greeted with the regular Career menu
- Player 2, who is still waiting on the Driver Ratings screen, can now leave, restart the game, and join Player 1's active Career session
- If this does not work, repeat the process but reverse the order of who leaves and rejoins.
It's a messy workaround but hopefully this will help get things back up and running for you.
Did not work, followed the instructions step by step, reversed order too. Please just send an update to fix this…… it’s obviously a simple coding error where they forgot to include an “advance” command in the code, and the prompt restarts as a result. Billion dollar company, this should be fixed in hours, not days.
Are you going to do something about the issues with the development points for the car, as only the ones earned by the host counted, not to mention the lag that there is?

Just doesn't work at all, career save down the bin I guess. please fix this, stupid driver ratings page that I'm sure nobody really cares for.
Update, just started a new career and this stupid screen showed up twice before we had even got to the first weekend, worked the first time then broke on the second time, what a waste of storage and money this game is, just like the red bull in real life updates make the game go backwards.
It's not work. It's the same when i created a new career.

Two days since the issue was identified and still no fix? Just a complicated workaround that doesnt even work for the majority of players? Cmon this is embarrassing.

This kind of workaround is honestly a joke. For an €80 game, it’s unacceptable to be told to go through such a convoluted process just to make basic features work and to top it off, the method doesn’t even work. Every update seems to break something new, and it’s ruining the experience. Fix the game properly this isn’t what we paid for. Have a good day (better than me)
