Two player career advanced bug

Me and my friend has been playing the two player career mode and we are unable to continue the game due to the advanced option not appearing on the screen at all and my friend is the only one with the option and only one of us are only able to load into the game at once we are on the Xbox version of the game and I’m gonna send screenshots on both of our perspectives as the next race is supposed to be texas and my friend is in the paddock while I’m stuck in the house unable to start in completely different locations
