EA SPORTS FC 25 PC controller not working in rivals

I've just bought the game and everything was fine until i wanted to play UT rivals and my controller stopped working on the kickoff. It is working in menu and everywhere else but not when I'm playing rivals i can't move players or change them. I can't even get in the menu i have to use keyboard and mouse to do something and when I'm in the menu the controller is fine. I've lost a few matches because of this bug. It's working perfectly in other game modes but not in rivals. Please help me!!!
