Recently FC25 has stopped allowing me to sprint when using my third party controller (on Series X). I've owned the game since December but this issue only started last week.
I've seen lots of discussion on here about this issue and it's been going on since launch. Some people suggest going into settings and changing simulation mode to 'classic' or 'custom' and have also suggested turning off analog sprint. I can confirm that these fixes don't work. I was hoping that the recent February update would fix this issue, but no, still the same problem.
The only solution I have found is reverting back to my (semi-broken) Xbox One controller, which somehow fixes the gameplay. Personally I have never seen the point in using xbox licensed controllers as they're stupid expensive and break very easily.
During career mode gameplay, I am now completely unable to sprint and my players do 'Jockey' like dribbles at a painfully slow pace. My ability to defend has also been ruined as all pace has gone from the game.
PLEASE EA, FIX THIS. It's a complete joke that this game has been out 5 months now and this hasn't been addressed. I've been less invested in the franchise since around 2018, as updates seem minimal and there's a general lack of innovation with the new titles.
I really hope this can be sorted once and for all so I can go back to enjoying my career mode saves.
