For what it's worth, this has happened to me twice in the past week. The first time it happened last week I lost about 2 months of save progress. I hadn't heard back from Amazon Luna or EA in a few days, so I decided to create a new personal settings file so that I could play the game again. After a day or two of painstakingly trying to re-create my Career player, I managed to play for a few days straight. Now today when I try to play I once again get the "create a personal settings file" when I start the game. So frustrating and what a waste of all that time.
It's ironic that the FC26 pre-order campaign is being so prominently displayed on Amazon Luna's homepage.
Situation exactly the same as yours even including the timelines, Think its happened twice in the past week for everyone, today i just found that it had happened for the second time
