Hi everyone,
just to confirm, you are all playing with a 50 series NVIDIA graphics card like a 5090 or 5080?
The game then crashes with NVIDIA driver version 576.02 and a DirectX error message? Does it matter what game mode you are playing, or when does the crash occur?
I can pass this onto the team to look into. In the meanwhile, I would recommend to manually install the previous NVIDIA drivers.

Thanks for the additional info, benni-11e!
Have you given the new hotfix driver a shot, if that indeed fixes the issues?- superdolvin18 days agoRising Novice
It is unbelievable that the team you reported to did nothing and the problem is still ongoing 2 months later.
I thank you for doing your Job, but you need to file a complaint because the folks handling the technical issue need to be held accountable.
I have a 5060 ti card and I cannot rollback what should I do??
I know if it was up to you, you would help us like you are helping us now, the issue is not with you it is with whoever is handling these complaints.
unbelievable 2 months later and it is still not fixed.
I cant play on the lowest setting.

RTX 5090 here. I have the same error with both 576.02 and the more recent 576.15 hotfix.
Went 572.83, no issues whatsoever.

Any mode, and it mostly happens during the replay, but it can occur other times as well.
I have a 5090 - Sault1212122 months agoNew Spectator
Thank you for your reply. To my knowledge, 5090 5080 5070ti. This problem occurs everywhere. As long as it is an online battle mode such as Champions League and division rivals mode. It appears almost every game.

It seems to be 50 series specific yes. It is still occuring on 576.28 aswell which is the latest game ready driver, both hotfixes didn't fix it nor the latest.
Mostly during replays/cutscenes. I.e when someone has just scored and you let them celebrate it'll crash.System specs in image provided

The latest driver version 576.28 is still the same issue. Is there a temporary workaround?

If offline you skip cutscenes, or roll back to 572.83. Otherwise afaik there isn't one which sucks since I play UT and 572.83 has a major bug for my work so I can't just roll back. Imagine not being able to play during TOTS :/

5070ti as well

Hey EA_Vendcera. I'd be willing to share more information to get a quick solution on a pretty widespread issue. I myself keep getting this driver/gpu crash from 2 different GPUs from the 50 series (the 5070ti and 5090). This makes me believe it isn't a specific model but something that spans all 50 series & their drivers. The game crashes with the same error above: at either opening settings mid-match, a cut scene (celebration) being introduced changing and any display settings changes. Even an opponent pausing to disconnect will immediately crash the game, rendering winning impossible. Said crash happens in UT and single-player modes. If more tests are needed I'm willing to screen record etc.

It still crashed two days ago fyi.
It crashes when you pause the game, or during cutscenes like goal celebrations. It literaly happens every match by default so it's impossible to finish one, though in theory a match that ends in 0-0 where you don't pause for substitutes could work, but yeah...
It's always in the 2nd half.
I would've hoped the SF patch would've fixed it... It is VERY annoying to having to switch between drivers, as certain features of the card are disabled with the 'working' versions.

Marginal0 Have you not installed the latest hotfix driver? It addresses it as far as I've experienced. 576.66 specifically states it fixes it too.
I played for 6 hours straight last night with no problems. Download link here again, just incase you missed the one I posted above already: https://international.download.nvidia.com/Windows/576.66hf/576.66-desktop-notebook-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch.hf.exe
