Hello Barry,
Rolling back NVIDIA drivers to a two-month-old version is no longer a viable solution for the ongoing FC 25 crashes. Since the issue began, NVIDIA has released at least four driver updates, and reverting to outdated drivers is impractical. The crashes, which occur frequently when the UI appears during gameplay or upon match completion, are specific to FC 25 and do not affect other games. This points to an issue that EA must address.
As an RTX 5090 owner, I can confirm that FC 25 is currently unplayable on RTX 5xxx series cards. This problem alienates your most dedicated players—those who invest in high-end hardware and purchase FC packs. Please prioritize a fix to ensure the game is fully compatible with the latest NVIDIA drivers and hardware. - FezBica4 months agoRising Spectator
Hey EA_Vendcera. I'd be willing to share more information to get a quick solution on a pretty widespread issue. I myself keep getting this driver/gpu crash from 2 different GPUs from the 50 series (the 5070ti and 5090). This makes me believe it isn't a specific model but something that spans all 50 series & their drivers. The game crashes with the same error above: at either opening settings mid-match, a cut scene (celebration) being introduced changing and any display settings changes. Even an opponent pausing to disconnect will immediately crash the game, rendering winning impossible. Said crash happens in UT and single-player modes. If more tests are needed I'm willing to screen record etc.

Is EA reaching out to NVIDIA to flag this issue though? Without them doing that nothing will change.

What if you just bought a 5080? I dont know what driver would actually work.

imagine having to choose between playing Doom or FIFA and every single time you want to switch, you have to reinstall a different driver.

Until today, the latest Nvidia driver stl hasn't solved this problem. Prove that they may not even be aware of the existence of this issue. As a world-class gaming company, EA has an obligation to provide feedback to Nvidia. thank you.

Hey folks,
thanks for the additional infos! This indeed seems like an issue with the specific NVIDIA drivers and nothing directly to do with FC 25. But yes, if the previous driver works, I'd recommend rolling back to that one until NVIDIA releases a new driver version with a fix. I just bought the game so I have nothing to compare it to

As above, reverting back to the most recently working drivers is the way to go if that hotfix does not help you.
Thanks.
