Player sold automaticly without consent after hour on transferlist!

Ok, here a mum who was yesterday with her sick kid looking at him playing.

He had Endrick 96 shapeshifters put on the transferlist, he had his price tagged on buy now 170k.

But meanwhile he just wanted to know what he would get for that player, he did not want to sell him for less then 170k. In an hour the auction told us that the bids where not that high. And so he didnt look at it again but let it go on without watching it.

I sat next to him this whole time. He never accepted an offer on this player. Also, he never sold an player before. This was the first he put on the transferlist.

Then after an hour we watched the offers. We saw the highest bid was 40K. But after the hour it just kept going on instead of stopping and it went up to 60k.

He just shifted his page and then saw to our disgrace that the player seemed to be SOLD FOR 60K INSTEAD OF 170K !??!

So now he lost one his best players due to a bug. We contacted directly ea help but they said we cannot set this straight because this was a transaction between two players.

But thats the real bug here, we had the player on 170k to be sold, never to be sold on 35% on this price!! My son is 10 yrs old but a nerd on mathematics.

He was devestated and with ea help i couldnt get any further! They just didnt want to see this as a real BUG or other named technical issue.

ME myself not very deep into the ps but I know what I saw. Ea ask me to film the bug?!! How, to put yet another player at risk on transfer with a camera for at least one hour???

He has his birtdday money into this game as well. While sick this was a distraction for him to play while mum, me had to see how good he was at the game.....But this was kind of a nightmare scenario for him!

He saw a player just vanish from his page and sold without him giving ANY acceptance to do so for a miserable price of 60k instead of the hoped 170k!

While i thought he never did any transfer before this player, you gotta find this bug!

After he lost the player in this bug way, he stressed out and tried to get the same player again, he bought out of stress a new on. He tried to on the auction for 85k.

By all these steps you can easely see, even with the timeline that my little son, just 10yrs old did NOT sell his player and did not want to sell for 60k!!

While I was watching him stressed out I tried to make sense out of his 'move'. He then told me what was done and then I told him we would go to EA for this was a bug and it was NOT HIS responsibility to carry the loss!

I was sitting next to him all this time but just couldnt follow what he tried to do while buying this player in his stress.

He showed me that his player was on transferlist during the play and I saw him looking at it during the play and after an hour. He never accepted an offer.

He assured me even that when 170k was not met at auction as an offer, then automaticly the player would be out of the action after an hour and he was fine with it.

I just felt, he was testing the water.....but then again, he never accepted to sell him for any offer underneath 170k. It did also never near that 'buy now' for 170k price.

Im convinced this is a bug in the game. And im also convinced that the loss of that player due to a bug should not be on anyone shoulders but EA game itself!

I would love to see a solution to this, for now I also wouldnt recommend anyone to put any player on transferlist also due to this bug!!

Greetings,

Suzan, mother of David

Sorry to hear about your son Davidkroket15, hope he is doing ok.

In situation like this, if an item is listed on the transfer market and sold then there is nothing that we can do to change this. Best thing to do is treat this as a learning experience and going forward only add items to the market if sure he wants to sell them.

    Darko

  • So, to be very explicite about this: he only put a player on the transferlist:

    He did NOT SELL IT

He did NOT ACCEPT ANY OFFERS

So the transferlist can sell your players off at any time for any price?! Thats must be a joke!

Clearly my little one does not have a nice day due to what a bug or even hacker did, who can tell. We have provided time, extensive description on 'how this was even possible' .... so the game producer wants his money but does not garantuee a thibg when due to the system, because my son did NOTHING WITH THE TRANSFER, after the hour went by the PLAYER VANISHED AND after research it seemed SOMEHOW THE PLAYER WAS SOLD  WITHOUT INTERVENTION OF MY CHILD FOR 35% of its worth!

How is that a thing you all are so stiffnecked about? Is that the policy of making your system problems those of your clients?! I just cant get it. Im Dutch so im front forward on this. If he did somethibg STUPID yes then it would be a learning curve.

IF YOU HAVE A BAD SYSTEM WITH A BUG right in front of you, spelled out to you in 3 constume help support chats:

THE LEARNING CURVE HAS TO BE ON YOUR SIDE right now!

How is this honesty, how is this treating childeren or costumers who pay for this with integrity?! I sat NEXT TO HIM to only few a few games he played meanwhile this player got sold to a low offer in the BACKGROUND without OUR CONSENT.

Thats calked a bug in my dictionary. And I dont have a positive word for this after 3 times covering this whole mess as if I have nothing better to do in life then this: but my son, 10yrs still thinks honesty gets you somewhere, so he thibks this, YOUR compagnie is gonna SOLVE THIS PROBLEM FOR HIM. And no he is not ok. He is in tears after translating this reaction again, after yesterday support chat send us here to SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!

DUTCH ARE STRAIGHT FORWARD. Decent and honest. Ill like to spend my time on more important stuff then this. But boy, do I boil inside!

ONE LAST TIME FOR ALL OUT THERE:

My son DID NOT SELL ANYONE FOR 35% OF HIS WORTH PLAYER ENDRICK96 shapeshifter [60K sold / worth 170k which he was 'buy now priced for!]

Some honesty would be appreciated! Learning curve....my son doesnt need one on this, you all behind ypur desks do. Sorry, but thats a reality fact right now!

It's not enough to set the Buy Now price when you're putting a player on the transfer market, you also have to set the Start Price, which will default to the minimum amount for that card type. So what he should have done is set the Buy Now to 170,000, and the Start Price to 169,500, and this wouldn't have happened.

And you don't respond to offers or have to agree to anything on the transfer market. If you put a player on it, it can be sold. Don't want to sell it? Don't list it.

P.S. And if your son really wants the Endrick back, you get one right now at Buy Now for 75K, so this whole experience will only cost him 15K.

Hey Davidkroket15 understand that you may be frustrated but being aggressive or direct won't help.

When selling on the transfer market you do not need to accept an offer.

If your son put the item on with a buy it now price then this does not mean that it will sell for that. If he wants to ensure that it does not sell below a certain price then he needs to also set a starting price.

As your son just put the item on the market without a start price then it will sell for the highest offer and he does not get the option to accept or decline this.

There is nothing that we can do in this situation to retrieve the item.

    Darko
