Player stuck on international duty.

Several of my players have been stuck on international duty during my manager career mode. This started during the World Cup qualifiers and instead of my players coming back to my club after their national teams matches, it just says they're on international duty and they can't play. This is also happening for the CPU. For example, players like Mbappe aren't playing for Real Madrid club matches. If anyone can help me with this, that would be amazing since it takes all the joy away from playing the game if I can't even play with my players.
