Squad Battles AI scores on me when I'm in pause menu

I was just in a match, when it went to extra time (yes, extra time on squad battles) and I went to sub a player (I didnt even do kickoff) and in the background I heard cheering. Next thing I know, I check the score and it's 2-1 against me. Honestly, how do you manage to **bleep** up a pause menu EA?

Then I went to check the highlight replay editor to see the goal. There was no mention of a goal, but it was definately there because I got 308 points out of it. Utter **bleep**.

    I have had something similar. At half time in a Squad Battles, I quick pressed resume then paused again straight away because I forgot needed to make a sub for an injured player. Made the substitution, unpaused and the game was on a corner at my end!

    Tested it again by deliberately pausing a few more times in games straight after half time and sure enough, every time the gameplay kept going in the background and I returned to either a corner or a goal kick at my end.
