Tots Upgrade Evolution Bug

My issue is that I wanted to upgrade a TOTS evolution player , thus I firstly apply TOTS evolution recolour on him to transform him into TOTS player, in accordance with the description of TOTA evolution Recolor EVO, the player ought to be a TOTS item after EVO, as you may found many 95 Henry is evoluted via this way, so logically it must be a TOTS items.

after that, I went to TOTS upgrade EVO, and the preview page shown my evoluted player as eligible, but when I choose to proper TOTS upgrade, it shown error of connecting to FUT server and keep showing the same after I tried several times.

Eventually I paid again for TOTS + EVO and it works, but I paid twice on one player for one TOTS upgrade due to this Bug causing I double paying loss and wasting of TOTS+ quota.

please advise the solution and I am hoping the TOTS + EVO can be retrieved to me, you may check my EA account: Molunkong for the mentioned fact check. Thanks.

Attempt on companion: attempted but not working 

Meets requirements for the evo as it is now a TOTS "item" even shows up as being available for the EVO. But when trying to submit it says there's an issue. Still a bug

It's a shame in theory aesthetic updates shouldn't unlock evolutions of statistics. EA didnt  really notice, they put things at random, using tots+ recolour it is possible to avoid the forbidden tots evolution requirement of the tots update for the player becomes standard tots. Now some players have been scammed by the system (no one expects aesthetics to unlock new evolutions), some are blocked like this thread and others have absurd players like gullit 5*5. It's unacceptable
