All Players Refuse Contract Renewals + Black Boots Reset Issue
In my second season fc26, every single player in the squad refuses to discuss contract renewals, regardless of morale, matches played, or team performance. Additionally, all players' boots reset to default black after every match, even after manual editing. These issues make Career Mode unplayable and frustrating after paying for early access.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start a new Manager Career Mode (Live Start).
- Progress to the second season without simulating too much play most matches manually.
- For contracts: Go to Squad Hub > Select a player with <12 months left > Attempt "Renew Contract." Get the message: "The player is not looking to engage in contract negotiations for the time being." This happens for ALL 32 players, even stars with max morale (green icon) and 30+ matches played. No chat notifications appear.
- For boots: Edit Player > Change boots to custom. Save and enter a match boots revert to black on the pitch. Repeats every game.
Expected Behavior:
- Contracts: Players should be open to negotiations based on morale/matches, as per the Career Deep Dive. I should be able to retain key players without them leaving for free or forced cheap sales.
- Boots: Custom boot selections should save and display correctly during matches for immersion.
Actual Behavior:
- Contracts: No renewals possible at all players expire and board forces sales. Broke my squad in Season 2; lost 5 starters for peanuts. This wasn't an issue in Season 1.
- Boots: Constant reset to black kills customization.
