Annoying music menu pop-up

Please do pass this critical issue on to EA.

In FUT mode, the EA Sport Music shortcut [hold R1 to pop up music menu] is overlaying [hold R1 to second man press], this is very ANNOYING!

Any updates on this.. i can’t play as it affects my sprint (r1) when i use custom settings or second player contain (r1) on classic settings. This is going to affect everyones ability to play the game

It’s been over a month since we’ve brought up this technical bug and nothing has been done to remedy it. At what point do you just decide to turn off the functionality because the game is unplayable at the moment.

Any news on this as unplayable for a lot of people who use R1 in custom? Stopped me from playing totally. Waste of money paying for this if this terrible bug/update isn't fixed

Was it possible to find a solution to this problem? It's just impossible to play normally. I'm already tired of this pop-up music window.

I would like to report the same problem as every user in this thread: I try to play a Moments challenge on Ultimate Team and because of the music played during the interval before I restart a challenge, I can feel the controller vibrating, which signals an EA Music overlay trigger. By pushing the button long enough, the annoying pop-up appears. As you can gather from my screenshot, it so happens to almost coincide with the end of the 3 seconds before a challenge begins, which leaves me no time to close the overlay and react before inevitably failing and starting all over again.

This has been an issue for me since I bought the game last month, but I assume others have been affected longer than myself. In any case, you ought to fix it ASAP! And before you or someone else suggests the idea; no, I am not willing to either switch the music completely off or alter my controller scheme to sprint with R2.

How is this STILL an issue a month later.  I literally just got FC26 on PS5 and every single game is screwed because this stupid music thing keeps popping up.  Cant play FUT, cant play career or anything.  This should be priority number 1 as it has completely ruined the game.  Holding the R1 button for longer than a second SHOULD NOT stop your entire gameplay for music that I have turned off.

This needs to be fixed immediately or I’ll be expecting a full refund on my purchase.

Anything new about the problem? I am currently faced with the same problem on PC. Username: Bull3asaur. I am using RB as sprint button and during game pop-up appearing eventhough I closed all settings about music including Music Chyron. UTC+3 (Europe/Istanbul) timezone.
